About us
The Center for Ambulatory Eye Surgery at Bielefeld Jahnplatz has been
founded by qualified physicians of microsurgery. Now, in cooperation
with three additional surgeons, a highly modern and specialized center
for LASIK surgery - the FreeVis LASIK Center Bielefeld - has been added
to the existing facility.
The FreeVis LASIK Center of the University Clinic Mannheim, established
by Professor Michael C. Knorz, is the cofounder of the FreeVis LASIK
Center Bielefeld. Due to the close cooperation with the world-renowned
Lasik specialist Professor Knorz, high standard of quality is assured
with all LASIK procedures.
Our goal
The team of surgeons at the LASIK Center closely
observes all guidelines of the Commission Refractive Surgery (Kommission
Refraktive Chirurgie (KRC)). These measures as well as the use of
the modern, state-of-the-art technical equipment guarantee the high
standards of quality and safety for your treatment.
Furthermore, because of the surgical experience of our physicians, we
are able to provide the entire spectrum of refractive
surgery within the same location. We are able to provide consultation
and help for patients with complex refractive errors.
New: New Zyoptix Aspheric Technology available for better LASIK results! Aspheric technology preserves the natural curve of the cornea. Zyoptix Aspheric LASIK results in better twilight and night vision producing better low contrast visual
acuity and inducing less higher order aberrations.
