With more than 50,000 performed vision correction procedures, Dr. Walter Aus der Au is one of the most experienced and successful eye surgeons of Switzerland. He introduced LASIK to Switzerland, performing the first LASIK operation there in 1994. Dr. Aus der Au also founded the Vedis Centers for Laser Eye Surgery. He regularly acts as a professional training instructor at international events.
Dr. Shahrokh Jalali is a trained ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon. In addition to his residency in ophthalmology he has completed a clinical fellowship in refractive and corneal surgery at Boxer Wachler Vision Institute in Beverly Hills, California. Besides laser vision correction, Dr. Jalali focuses on the treatment of patients with keratoconus. He published extensively in this field and co-authored the book "Modern Treatment of Keratoconus".
