About us
The Euro-Augenlaserklinik Nuremberg-Fürth / FreeVis LASIK Center Nuremberg/Fürth
(founded in 1994) and is specialized in the surgical
correction of refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness and
astigmatism).
The common goal of these treatment methods is to correct the existing
refractive error with a surgical procedure on the cornea or lens, so
that light rays or images are sharply focused on the retina of the eye
without the need of further corrective devices. Since 1994, over 16,500
excimer laser ablations (12,000 LASIK procedures among them) as well
as 3,800 lens implantations have been performed at out clinic.

Our goals
For you, this means state-of-the-art technique and a painless procedure.
Our eye clinic is a member of the German Association of Specialty Clinics
for Eye Laser and Refractive Surgery (Verband der Spezialkliniken Deutschlands
für Augenlaser und Refraktive Chirurgie e. V. - VSDAR), whose main
goal is to provide detailed information and education about all procedures
of refractive surgery.
The FreeVis LASIK Center Fürth is located within the city limits
of Fürth in the highly populated area of Nürnberg-Fürth-Erlangen,
close to the Rhein-Main-Danube-Canal and is easily accessible by public
and private transportation.
Generally, our procedures of refractive surgery are ambulatory. We are
also able to accommodate you for inpatient treatment should this option
be your individual preference.
