Our Team
Since 1994, we have been performing refractive surgery - procedures
to eliminate refractive errors - and have specialized in LASIK surgery.
The careful preoperative and postoperative eye exams are as much part
of our Excimer-laser treatment as are the continued technical control
and maintenance of the laser equipment.
We set our priorities in performing high quality laser surgery
by our surgeons, - providing time efficient and friendly treatment by
our friendly staff, and setting a friendly atmosphere in our pleasant
facilities
Our surgeons have experience in all areas of conservative and surgical
treatment of vision disorders.
Armin Scharrer, MD
Dr. Scharrer is one of the pioneers of modern cataract (phacoemulsification) and refractive surgery (Lasik, Femto/LASIK). He has performed more than 45.000 procedures. In 1989, he became President
of the Study Group for Ophthalmologic Surgery of the Professional
Organization of German Ophthalmologists (Berufsverband der Augenärzte
Deutschlands) and President of the Congress of German Ophthalmologic
Surgeons (Kongress der Deutschen Ophthalmochirurgen - DOC). Dr.
Scharrer is a member of numerous German and international ophthalmologic
societies.

Manuel Ober, MD
Dr. Ober (born 1948) attended Medical School in Erlangen and Munich.
He was a staff member of the Eye Clinic of the University of Erlangen.
He passed his residency for ophthalmologic surgery at renowned Eye
Clinics in the United States. In 1994, he was one of the founders
of the Euro Eye Laser Clinic and functions as one of its Medical
Directors. Dr. Ober is a member of many German and international
ophthalmologic societies.

Martin von Busch, MD
After attending Medical School in Erlangen and Würzburg,
Dr. von Busch (born 1965) became the Senior Ophthalmologist of the
Euro Eye Laser Clinic (private clinic for eye laser surgery) in
1997.

Thomas Will, MD
Dr. Will (born 1964) attended Medical School in Regensburg
and Munich. Following Medical School, he underwent training as an
internist at the Passau Clinic prior to his residency in ophthalmology.
He has been active in ophthalmologic surgery since 1993, and since
1994 with the Euro Eye Laser Clinic.
